For young children, it is extremley important to maintain the health of primary teeth. Neglected cavities and improper dental hygiene can lead to issues with the development of permanent teeth. Baby teeth also play a huge role in the progression of speech and appearance.
Baby and primary teeth are important for several reason which include:
- Proper chewing and eating
- Providing space for the permanent teeth and guiding them into the correct position
- Permitting normal develepment of jaw bones and muscles
