We all know how much children LOVE candy. With Halloween right around the corner, it’s a very difficult time of year to prevent your children from eating too many sugary treats. Now that you and your children have your costumes picked out and ready for the big day, here are some teeth-friendly spooky Halloween snacks to keep your little ones teeth and their taste buds satisfied!
Spooky Skeleton Quesadilla
This quick and easy treat is delicious and microwavable! Simply cut two whole wheat tortillas into a skull shape and fill the middle with shredded cheese. Place in the microwave and heat until cheese is melted. Top with an apple slice for the mouth and olives for the eyes!
Breadstick Bones with Marrow-nara Dipping Sauce
All you’ll need for this recipe is thin pizza crust dough, string cheese, butter, and marinara sauce. Open the pizza crust and stuff with cheese stick. Roll into “breadstick-bone” shape and bake until lightly browned. Heat marinara sauce and serve.
Green Zombie French Toast
This Halloween-themed breakfast is filled with fruits and veggies! Bananas, spinach, and orange zest combine to make this a treat your children will love! For the full recipe click here.
Jack-O-Lantern Apple Pie
Take the classic Apple Pie and add a Halloween twist. With a buttery, flaky crust, and big chunks of real apples this dessert will surely be a hit this Halloween. Visit babble’s Halloween Treat Ideas for baking instructions.
